### What is OMC?

OMC is the gas token of the Omchain network. OMC, could be bridged to other networks such as Ethereum (ETH), Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Polygon (MATIC), and Avalanche (AVAX).

The total supply of OMC is capped at 250 million tokens. Since OMC is the gas token of the network, OMC collected as transaction fees are burned permanently which aids in creating a deflationary token economy. The burn event will continue until there are no more than 100 million OMC tokens in circulation.

Omchain's technical structure is noteworthy for its ability to produce a block every 2 seconds, translating to over 15 million blocks per year. Capable of smoothly processing 2000 transactions per block, Omchain can achieve a transaction speed (TPS) of up to 1000 per second, making it ideal for speed-focused applications in DeFi and NFT sectors. Furthermore, with a transaction fee of only $0.0001, it offers high efficiency and economical usage. Omchain stands out as a competitive blockchain solution with its technical features and provides a robust, secure foundation for widespread adoption. Additionally Omchain has USD-fixed transaction processing capabilities for large transaction senders to make institutional adoption easier due to transaction cost forecasting being possible.

Omchain provides its users with advanced features such as smart contracts, decentralized applications (DApps), and token creation. Smart contracts offer developers and businesses the flexibility and security to program everything from financial transactions to voting and automated tasks. DApps and tokens are supported within the Omchain ecosystem with a variety of tools and services that enable users to create and manage their projects.

Security is a core focus of Omchain. State-of-the-art encryption and network security protocols protect the integrity of the network while safeguarding user assets and data against all types of attacks. The network is supported by regular security audits and updates, ensuring that users and developers can transact with confidence.

In conclusion, Omchain combines the innovations offered by blockchain technology in a user-friendly platform designed to meet the current and future needs of the industry. With its high performance, cross-chain compatibility, and robust security, it aims to meet the needs of both existing crypto users and those new to the field, whether individuals or businesses. # EVM Indexer

**EVM Indexer: A Comprehensive Tool for Blockchain Transaction Analysis**

Blockchain technology has become an indispensable part of our digital world, offering transparency and security but also filled with complex data structures and transactions. To effectively work with this technology, Omchain has developed the EVM Indexer, a tool designed for analyzing transactions on all Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible blockchain networks. This tool is particularly beneficial for software developers in applications such as NFT marketplaces and crypto-based payment systems.

When a software developer wants to create an NFT marketplace, EVM Indexer allows easy access to past transaction details. This not only enriches the user experience but also enhances the transparency of the marketplace. In crypto-based payment systems, EVM Indexer enables real-time monitoring of transactions in wallets. This increases user trust and ensures the accuracy and speed of transactions. For example, when a user deposits OMC into an exchange, EVM Indexer can instantly detect this transaction and reflect it in the user's account.

Another significant advantage of EVM Indexer is its accessibility. It provides a suitable solution not only for large companies but also for small developers and university students. This is especially helpful for developers who lack experience in understanding and tracking blockchain network transactions. The tool can also track complex smart contract transactions. For instance, transactions like the distribution of $1,000 deposited into a contract to 50 different addresses can be easily tracked with EVM Indexer. This feature is particularly important for institutions dealing with financial security and combating money laundering.

Currently available in Python, EVM Indexer aims to reach a broader audience with JavaScript support in the future. This will allow software developers to access the necessary information within minutes, without needing to conduct detailed analyses of blocks and transfers. EVM Indexer is a powerful and user-friendly tool that can be used on all EVM compatible networks, such as Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, and Avax. This tool facilitates the development of blockchain-based applications, contributing to the further advancement of our digital world.

# Omchain Bridge

Omchain Bridge, developed by Omchain Foundation, is a cross-chain bridge that facilitates the transfer of assets and data across various blockchains. This bridge enhances user experience by increasing compatibility between different blockchain networks and expanding liquidity pools. It offers users the opportunity to benefit from the advantages of different blockchain networks. Technically, the Omchain Bridge enables the secure and efficient transfer of tokens and other digital assets from one blockchain to another, thus providing users with broader access and interaction in various ecosystems.

&#x20;You can access the[ <mark style="color:blue;">**Omchain Bridge**</mark>](https://app.omchain.io/bridge) through this link.

### How does Omchain Bridge work?

<figure><img src="/files/C7gyksrMu57NmN2fhMPv" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can use the Omchain Bridge to transfer your OMCs and other supported tokens among supported networks.

Currently only the following networks are supported;

* **Omchain**&#x20;
* **Ethereum**
* **Binance Smart Chain**
* **Polygon**
* **Avalanche Network**

Select the sender network accordingly and destination network as **Omchain**. Later from the token section select **OMC** and connect your wallet.

The bridge will walk you through necessary steps shown below;

* ConnectWallet (either via Metamask Extension or a wallet that supports WalletConnect)
* Approve (this step is necessary for the Omchain Bridge contract to be able to bridge your assets)
* Enter the amount you would like to bridge
* Click on Send

Upon clicking on Send, your wallet will prompt a transaction request and upon your confirmation, the bridging process will start.

Once you are redirected to the transaction page, take note of the URL you are visiting, in case your transaction confirms later than expected so that you can close your browser and return when it's confirmed.

### Transaction URLs

The URL of each transaction is in the format of;

<mark style="color:green;">`https://app.omchain.io/status/source network ID/transaction hash`</mark>

For example; <https://app.omchain.io/status/21816/0xa9e3fce6db2cad66bb9667e6a53af84ece33851f9c933adfecb35fa8eb5ff52f> The **21816** in the source network ID part of the URL means that this bridge was started from the Omchain. And the **0xa9e...52f** part is the corresponding TX ID on the omchain. We can visit the transaction page on the Omchain any time we want, to see the status of the transaction.

### Confirming Transaction & Adding Network

Once your transaction is completed on the source network, you will also see on the transaction details page that the transaction is completed.

After that you can click on the **Add Network** button to change the network on your wallet to the destination network. If you don't have the RPC details for the Omchain, the **Add Network** button will prompt the network details and upon your confirmation, the network will be added & switched on your wallet.

Please make sure that you are using a wallet that supports the addition of custom EVM networks.

### Finalizing The Transaction

If you are bridging OMC to the Omchain, as soon as your deposit is seen, the corresponding amount of OMC will be sent to your wallet on the Omchain. You don't have to do anything else to receive your asset.

If you are sending different assets between the networks, you will have to click on the **"Receive"** button to interact with the deployed omLink contract in the corresponding network to finalize the transaction. After you click the Receive button, you will be prompted with a tx. Confirming that TX will deliver your ticket to the **Omchain Bridge** smart contract and your assets will be transferred to your wallet.

You can click on the **Add** button to add the token you are bridging to your wallet.

# Contracts

Omchain is a layer 1 blockchain infrastructure and OMC is its native asset that is used for the transaction fees. OMC on the mainnet does not have a contract address since tokens are inherently defined and integrated within the protocol.&#x20;

However, when bridging OMC to other networks such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon and Avalanche the OMC is represented with an ERC-20 compatible token.&#x20;

The smart contract addresses on all supported networks are same and is&#x20;
