# Contracts

Omchain is a layer 1 blockchain infrastructure and OMC is its native asset that is used for the transaction fees. OMC on the mainnet does not have a contract address since tokens are inherently defined and integrated within the protocol. 

However, when bridging OMC to other networks such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon and Avalanche the OMC is represented with an ERC-20 compatible token. 

The smart contract addresses on all supported networks are same and is
