# Contracts

Omchain is a layer 1 blockchain infrastructure and OMC is its native asset that is used for the transaction fees. OMC on the mainnet does not have a contract address since tokens are inherently defined and integrated within the protocol.&#x20;

However, when bridging OMC to other networks such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon and Avalanche the OMC is represented with an ERC-20 compatible token.&#x20;

The smart contract addresses on all supported networks are same and is&#x20;
